You can delete your Canora account, and the data in it, at any time. This covers the website canoraonline.com and the Canora app for Android, which use the same account. Canora is operated by Robinson Grullon.

Delete it yourself, at once

• Log in to Canora, on the website or in the app.
• Open Profile and go to Delete account at the bottom.
• Choose Delete my account and confirm with your password (accounts made with Google confirm with their username).

The account and its data are deleted straight away.

Or ask us by email

If you cannot log in, write to support@canoraonline.com from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my Canora account” and your username if you know it. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account: username, email address, name, password and settings.
• Your birds, pedigrees, pairs, clutches, rings, show results and scoresheets.
• Your photos, videos, song recordings and other uploaded files.
• Your marketplace listings, the messages about them, and the reviews you wrote or received.
• Your club memberships. A club whose only member is you closes with your account.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups: copies of the database in our nightly backups are not edited; they are replaced as the backups roll over, at the latest 90 days after deletion.
• Other breeders’ records: birds that you transferred to another breeder, or whose details another breeder copied into their own records, stay in their records, because they belong to them.
• Posts on Canora’s Facebook page and YouTube channel of a listing you allowed us to feature may stay; write to us and we take them down within 30 days.

Before you delete

• My Birds and My Pairs can be downloaded as spreadsheets first, if you want to keep a copy.
• If you are the only owner of a club that has other members, make another member an owner first.
